Ruby update 23/11/17
Ruby is now into her 7th month and is certainly another special flatcoat to become of our family. She is very affectionate and just loves a cuddle.
On Sunday she went on her first flatcoat walkies at Highcliffe Castle. About 15 flatties having a wonderful time in the sea chasing and stealing each other balls but not a cross word between them. Wagging tails everywhere. Roxy being Roxy kept herself to herself. I put a bandana on Ruby in case I lost her but I needn’t have worried as she joined in the fun splashing in the sea but staying close to us. A wonderful experience.
Ruby’s Training is going well she is very responsive and enthusiastic. Clicker Training suits her very well giving lots of feedback and keeping her ready to offer more behaviours. She is so focused when we are in the clicker zone. Great fun watching her learn new thing. Targeting is amazing and the skill makes so many other things easy to teach. She does mat across the hall, hits the Fun Flyball Box and does an amazing go round.
